3. Lord's Prayer

"When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Pray then in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses.
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil." Matthew 6: 7-13

*****

Evil is done in this, Thy day
as we trespass into Heaven
who hallowed bread and earth as kingdom
those, our trespasses on Thy name
give it not from us, our daily temptation from Thy will

but come be
be

lead us
deliver us and
forgive us
forgive us

our Father in Heaven.
